How does my child get placed on a team?

Central Mass Flag Worcester uses a Draft System to assign players to teams.  Coaches meet approximately 2 weeks, before each season begins, to "Draft" their team.  

The Draft is FINAL

The Draft is final! We WILL NOT move kids after being drafted from one team to another.

Late Registrations

The Draft is final...but not complete. Late registrations will be allocated to the teams with the fewest players. If the teams have an equal number of players, they will be assigned to teams randomly using the registration software.

Can I get a refund if my child did not get drafted by the coach I wanted?

The league discourages participants from registering only on condition of specific team placement or coach assignment.  In the event players are not assigned to a specific team, coach or partnered with specific players, even if requested, refunds will not be issued.

Should I register late to avoid the draft and get on the team of my choosing?

***There are two ways to guarantee a Late Registration does NOT get on the team of your choice. 

1.) A Coach asks that a late registration be placed on their team.

2.) The late registration asks to be placed on a specific team.

Any requests from a Coach or a Late Registration to be placed on a specific team will automatically be denied and the requested team will be forfeited from the option of randomly being placed on that team.
